Emerald Star is an outstanding book which makes you feel like you are on the adventure with her!!! Emerald meets three very important people in the adventure but doesn’t know who to choose to live with. The book builds a lot of suspense throughout the story and I never wanted to put it down. Jacqueline Wilson has written the book really well and the way she described Emerald Star, Madame Adeline and Diamond was amazing. Jacqueline made it feel like you knew the characters already. I loved it.
